Privacy

MOT Mileage is an independent website run in the UK. Questions about this policy: hello@motmileage.co.uk.

When you enter a registration, we send it to DVSA's MOT history service to get the vehicle's record. We keep a copy of the result for up to 6 hours so repeat checks are fast, then it's deleted. We don't link checks to you.

The record shows the vehicle, not its owner: DVSA's MOT history doesn't include names or addresses.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies, to count page views.

If you email us, we use your address only to reply.
